Kindergarten Curriculum (Ages 3–6)

At Tashi Waldorf School, our Kindergarten curriculum nurtures the whole child — head, heart, and hands — through play, creativity, and connection with nature.

Daily Learning Includes:

Arts & Handwork:
Painting, clay modeling, crafts, and handwork to develop creativity and fine motor skills.

Music & Movement:
Singing, dancing, and rhythm exercises for coordination, language, and joy.

Practical Life Skills:
Baking, gardening, and caring for the classroom to foster independence and responsibility.

Nature & Outdoor Play:
Seasonal walks, gardening, and exploration to connect with the natural world.

Circle Time & Social Learning:
Stories, verses, and group activities to build community and emotional skills.

Festivals & Seasons:
Celebrations of seasonal festivals to develop rhythm, wonder, and cultural awareness.

The Waldorf Way:
Learning through imagination, rhythm, and hands-on experience allows each child to grow at their own pace, building a foundation for curiosity, creativity, and lifelong love of learning. By focusing on imagination, sensory experiences, and practical skills, children naturally develop the foundation for reading and writing.
